These multifocal lenses are sold under Johnson & Johnson’s popular Acuvue brand and are part of the best-selling Acuvue Oasys family of lenses.

Type of lens:

Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia are soft, multifocal lenses that combine multiple prescriptions into one set of lenses. They can be worn as:

• Two weekly daily wear lenses (and need cleansing each night and replacing every two weeks)
• Extended wear lenses (for up to six nights and replaced every week)

Material:

Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia contact lenses are made from Senofilcon A, a silicone hydrogel with a water content of 38% that allows high levels of oxygen to permeate through to the eyes - ensuring a comfortable lens fit and keeping eyes fresh and healthy.

Hydraclear Plus - Keeps eyes hydrated thanks to a multi-layer approach that combines wetting agents with bonded moisture and tear-stabilising technology to keep eyes hydrated.

Availability for myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism:

As multifocal lenses, Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia are designed to be worn by those with presbyopia.

However, within the Acuvue Oasys family there are options for those with astigmatism (Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism) as well as for those who require short or long-sight correction (Acuvue Oasys).
