What precautions should I take with my eyes before playing sport?

Wearing contact lenses whilst playing sports can be more stable than wearing glasses. Wearing lenses will also mean that your vision will not be affected by rain, fog or reflections.

If you play high impact sports, wearing contact lenses will allow you to wear protective eyewear, which will lower risk of damage or injury. You will also be able to wear non-prescription sunglasses, ski masks, and much more.

If you tend to play a lot of outdoor sports, speak to your optician about wearing lenses that protect your eyes against harmful UV rays.

Soft contact lenses will be the better option to wear compared to rigid gas permeable lenses.
