Continuous, extended wear contact lenses for 6 nights/7 days. After this they must be removed, disposed of and replaced with a new pair. Before opting for extended wear, please consult your optician for their direction and recommendation.

Two week disposable lenses, if removed, cleansed and stored each night. They must be disposed each fortnight and replaced.

Material:

Acuvue Oasys are made from Senofilcon A, a silicone hydrogel with a 38% water content. It is highly breathable and lets plenty of oxygen reach your eyes, which helps to improve comfort and keep eyes bright, white and healthy.

Hydraclear Plus Technology - An exclusive wetting agent that reduces dryness by mimicking the eyes’ own tear film to keep them hydrated and moist. It also helps to stabilise the tear film for additional comfort.

FAQs

How long can I wear Acuvue Oasys?

Acuvue Oasys can be worn continuously as extended wear lenses for up to 6 nights/7 days (under the guidance/recommendation of your optician) and must then be removed and disposed of. If you’re removing and cleansing them at the end of each day, then they can be worn for up to two weeks before being disposed of and replaced.

However, other types of lenses in the Acuvue Oasys family are daily disposables. Daily Acuvue Oasys Lenses are made for single use and should be replaced with a new pair every day. If you’re unsure which is best to check the name (the daily disposables are called ‘1 Day’) or ask your optician.

Can you sleep in Acuvue Oasys?

Yes, you can sleep in Acuvue Oasys lenses for a maximum of 6 nights continuously before removing and disposing. However, before extended wear, please consult your optician for his or her advice on best practice.
