Terms and Conditions for the Lenstore Customer Feedback Survey
These terms regulate the conditions of participating in the Lenstore UK customer survey and potential follow-up interviews. You must accept these terms before accessing the survey.

Purpose of the project
You are invited to participate in a research project conducted by Lenstore Ltd owned and operated by LGL Ltd. LGL Ltd is a company registered in the Island of Guernsey under the company number 51990. Our registered office is at Fourth Floor, Plaza House, Admiral Park, St Peter Port, GY1 3UQ, Guernsey. This project aims to:
- Understand user behaviour, preferences and feedback on Lenstore's services and products
- Archive personal data for future research purposes related to the prize draw. Data access will be strictly limited to Lenstore or approved researchers
Why are you being asked to participate?
You are receiving this invitation because:
- You are a customer or potential user of Lenstore's services, selected based on eligibility criteria
- Your feedback helps improve our products and services
- Approximately 100,000 people have been invited to participate
- Your contact information was obtained through your prior consent to Lenstore communications
Who can participate/eligibility criteria?
This survey is open to UK residents aged 18 years or older. Participants must provide their full name and email address through SurveyMonkey Inc. to be entered into the prize draw.
What are your obligations?
Participants must:
- Provide accurate and complete information in the survey
- Not share, copy or distribute content from the survey without Lenstore's written permission
Who is responsible for the research project?
Lenstore Ltd is the data controller for all personal data collected during this project. Data will be archived on Lenstore's secure servers. If data storage responsibility changes, you will be notified of the new managing institution.
Participation is voluntary
You can participate in the survey without consenting to future data archiving. If you withdraw before completing the interview stage, no data will be archived and you will not qualify for rewards.
What does your participation entail?
- Completing a survey via SurveyMonkey
- Providing personal data such as your email address and feedback
Data is processed securely and in accordance with GDPR and other applicable regulations. Read our full Privacy Policy here: https://www.lenstore.co.uk/privacy. Please note that SurveyMonkey also provides its own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice, which will be displayed when you enter the survey. For the purposes of this survey, SurveyMonkey acts as our data processor.
What does archiving entail?
- Survey responses and email addresses will be archived
- Contact details are stored separately and securely
- Data will be pseudonymised and kept for up to six months, then anonymised
- Only approved Lenstore researchers and collaborators will have access
Brief information about data protection
Your data will be used only for the purposes described. It will be processed securely and confidentially.
Access and use of your data
- Only Lenstore's research team and authorised personnel can access your data during the project
- After archiving, only approved researchers within Europe will access anonymised data
- Data is protected through encryption and anonymisation
- No personally identifiable information will be shared in publications
Data processing outside the EU
Some processing may occur outside the EU via SurveyMonkey. These services comply with GDPR through legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Lenstore is the sole data controller for this project.
What gives us the right to process your data?
We process personal data in the public interest, and in line with GDPR requirements.
Your rights
You may:
- Request access, correction or deletion of your data
- Object to data processing
- Expect a response within one month
- Lodge complaints with the relevant data authority if needed
Data archiving
- Project ends 15 December 2025
- Archived data includes survey responses, anonymised feedback, and optional audio/video from interviews
- Access is restricted to authorised personnel
- Data is stored indefinitely unless you request otherwise
Prize Draw
Participants who complete the survey and share their email will be entered into a prize draw:
- 5 x £200 Amazon.co.uk vouchers
- 5 x £50 Amazon.co.uk vouchers
Amazon's terms apply to voucher use. Lenstore is not responsible for redemption issues.
Winners will be selected at random on or about 15 December 2025. Winners will be contacted by email within five business days and must respond within three business days. Unclaimed prizes will go to runners-up. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lenstore may substitute prizes if necessary.

Lenstore reserves the right to disqualify any participant in breach of these terms.
