FAQs
What is Acuvue TruEye?
Acuvue TruEye is a type of contact lens manufactured by Johnson & Johnson. They are made of silicone hydrogel and their Hydraclear technology keeps eyes moist and healthy.
What's the Difference Between Acuvue Moist and TruEye?
While both lenses are daily disposables, the major difference between Acuvue Moist and TruEye contact lenses is the material they are made of.
TruEye lenses are made from silicone hydrogel, which allows high levels of oxygen to permeate through the lens and helps your eyes to ‘breathe’, which helps keep the lenses comfy and your eyes healthy.
Acuvue Moist lenses are made of hydrogel, which doesn’t allow quite as much oxygen to reach your eyes, but still keeps them moist and lenses comfortable to wear. Hydrogel lenses don’t have as high a price point as silicone hydrogel lenses, so they tend to be more affordable.
