Month-long comfort - Thanks to the combination of a highly breathable silicone hydrogel material and SmartShield technology that prevents the build-up of deposits these lenses remain comfortable throughout the entire month.
Healthy looking eyes - These lenses allow a rich nourishing flow of oxygen to reach your eyes, which reduces fatigue and ensures they look bright, white and healthy even over extended periods of wear.
Easy to insert - These lenses are ultra-thin and have a handling tint, which makes them easy to insert and remove.
Minimum fuss - If approved by your optician for extended wear, you can keep these lenses in overnight for up to 6 nights / 7 days at a time. This minimises maintenance so you can go about your day with no fuss.

Alternatives
If you are considering other monthly lens options, you must consult your optician first, who will assess the suitability of other lenses for your eyes and then fit them correctly.
Lenstore recommends the following alternatives
Air Optix plus HydraGlyde
Air Optix plus HydraGlyde are monthly disposable contacts that use SmartShield technology to minimise the build-up of deposits and keep lenses smooth and comfortable, even over periods of extended wear. The added HydraGlyde technology creates and retains a layer of moisture between the eye and the lens to maintain hydration, while the breathable silicone hydrogel material allows oxygen to flow through and keep eyes white and healthy.
Biofinity
Biofinity lenses are comfortable, breathable contact lenses that allow optimal oxygen to reach the eyes. Aquaform technology helps these lenses to retain moisture and keep eyes hydrated, while an aspheric design increases depth of focus and delivers crisp, clear vision. They can also be worn as continuous wear lenses, for up to 29 nights - if approved by your optician.

Is Air Optix Better Than Acuvue?
Whether Air Optix contacts are better than Acuvue depends on your lifestyle, prescription and eyes. If we compare the monthly Air Optix Aqua lenses with the two weekly Acuvue Oasys Hydraclear Plus lenses, then the Acuvue lenses have a higher water content and are thinner, more breathable lenses, so may be slightly more comfortable in the eyes. However, they need to be changed more regularly than Air Optix lenses.
