Air Optix plus HydraGlyde Multifocal contact lenses are a monthly-use lens for wearers with presbyopia. Each lens can be worn for up to 30 days, though they will need to be removed, cleaned, and stored overnight correctly after each day of use. Air Optix plus HydraGlyde Multifocal lenses can also be used for extended wear for up to 6 consecutive days, with approval from your optician.

Technology:

HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix – uses a block copolymer that surrounds the lens with an envelope of moisture–offering a unique hydrophilic barrier that lowers friction during wear to provide extra hydration throughout the day.

SmartShield technology – creates a permanent ultrathin protective shield around the contact lens, lowering the number of exposed silicone atoms at the surface. This technology helps the lens to resist lipid deposits improving wettability and hydration.

Precision-Profile design- creates an uninterrupted vision experience with a smooth progression of power gradients for near, intermediate, and far distances.

Pack sizes:

Air Optix plus HydraGlyde Multifocal contact lenses are available in packs of 3. Each lens will last for 30 days when removed, cleaned and stored correctly overnight after each day of use. A box of 3 monthly-use lenses will last for around three months.

Air Optix plus HydraGlyde Multifocal contact lenses are manufactured for wearers with presbyopia, though Alcon also makes other options for different prescriptions.
