Hydrating - Biofinity Energys contacts attract and lock water into the surface of the lens to retain moisture through Aquaform Technology, ensuring that a user’s eyes stay comfortable.
Digital Ready - These lenses also feature Digital Zone Optics, which helps to relieve tired eyes, caused by using computer screens and digital devices.
Breathability - Manufactured with silicone hydrogel, these lenses allow high levels of oxygen to flow through the lenses, helping to promote a healthier lens-wearing experience.
Biofinity Energys monthly-use contact lenses are a comfortable option from CooperVision that are suitable for wearers with short or long-sightedness.
Biofinity Energys contact lenses are recommended for:
Please always check with your Optometrist first before purchasing new contact lenses that haven't been prescribed.
Biofinity Energys contact lenses are designed and manufactured by CooperVision, a leading specialist in the contact lens industry with four decades of experience.
Biofinity is a brand owned and operated by CooperVision.
Biofinity Energys contacts are a monthly disposable lens that can be worn in the usual way, being removed after each day of use and then cleaned and stored overnight. They can also be worn as continuous wear, meaning that they can be worn for up 29 nights. However, you will need to confirm with your optician before wearing these, during sleep.
CooperVision’s Biofinity Energys contacts contain: Comfilcon A . Comfilcon A is a silicone hydrogel that has a water content of 48%. It is highly breathable, which allows a good flow of oxygen to reach your eyes, improving comfort and reducing fatigue.
CooperVision’s Biofinity Energys have been designed with several technologies incorporated to maximise effectiveness and comfort.
Digital Zone Optics - The use of this technology helps to relieve tired eyes after using computers and digital devices, making them ideal for office workers, or for people who spend a lot of time using digital devices. This technology utilises front-surface aspheric curves, which are employed across the optical zone. Digital zone optics help to relieve tired eyes after using computers and digital devices by making it easier to change focus from distance to near.
Aquaform Technology - Attracts and locks water into the lens to retain moisture and relieve eye dryness, promoting comfort and eye hydration for wearers.
Biofinity Energys contact lenses come in packs of 3 or 6 (Biofinity Energys - Pack of 6), for either one or both eyes. Biofinity Energys lenses can be worn in the same way as other reusable lenses, being removed, cleaned and stored overnight after each day of use. This means that a pack of 3 lenses will last for around 3 months, while a pack of 6 will last for around half a year. Each lens can also be worn as continuous use for up to 29 nights, as long as you get approval from your optician before doing so.
Biofinity contact lenses are available to suit various prescriptions. Coopervision manufacture Biofinity Toric and Biofinity XR Toric for astigmatism. Coopervision also manufactures Biofinity Multifocal for presbyopic prescriptions, and Biofinity XR lenses for more extreme long and short-sighted prescriptions. It is important to remember that Biofinity Energys offer a different concept to other Biofinity lenses offered by Coopervision.
The main difference between Biofinity and Biofinity Energys is in the lens design. Digital Zone Optics, a lens design that addresses the increased use of digital devices in our lives, is only available in the Biofinity Energys lenses, making them a good choice for office workers.
You can choose to wear Biofinity Energys contact lenses for a day at a time, removing and storing them overnight after each day of use. You can also wear Biofinity Energys for up to 29 nights as continuous wear. If you do want to wear these lenses overnight, you will need to first get approval from your optician.
Biofinity Energys contact lenses are licensed in the UK as continuous wear contacts and can be worn for up to 29 nights as long as your optician has approved it.
